  1. Wow Al, I am impressed. You were always my favorite teacher!! You treated us all with respect and humor, and it was much appreciated. I remember snacks from Coyles in English class LOL. I am definitely going to look into purchasing some of your books.

  2. Mr. Rennie!
I can’t believe after all these years I have stumbled across my all time favourite teacher from Lakefield! Wow! Congrats on the books. Will definitely have to read them.
You’re English classes are still talked about and the passion you inspired us to have for the written word is still there. Thank you for inspiring my educational and life journey and for installing in me a respect for educators who truly care. I can still hear you calling me “Macalliffe!” every morning!

  4. Hi Al, Clearwater Journals was the first free e-book I downloaded. I really enjoyed it and will now look for others to purchase.

  5. I am so disappointed that Kobo doesn’t have Clearwater Intrigue yet and am doubly disappointed that Clearwater Danger is released and no sign of it either. I am have Clearwater withdrawal!!

  6. Hi Al,
I downloaded Clearwater Magic last night and read it right through. I enjoyed the story and the characters but particularly appreciated the ability to adjust the font size and background to assist with my vision problems.

    • Hi Katie

Thank you for writing to my website. To answer your question … there are twenty-five Clearwater episodes and they are available from any of the e-book retailers … Kobo, Kindle, I-books, Barnes and Noble. If you want a paperback copy of any title, contact Createspace to have one mailed to you.

I always love to read that someone else out there is interested in my writing. If I can help in any way, let me know by replying to this e-mail. Have a great weekend and thanks again.

      Best regards,

      Al RennieEmoji

  7. Hi Al
I recently found you, and ended up with all your books so far. Born in Glasgow 1940, came to Australia in 1960 so can relate to the Clearwater weather and beaches. I also noted a few of your expressions in common with down under and generally not found in American novels eg , bugger off’. I have enjoyed them during my Christmas holidays – here we laze in the sun. Best wishes to you and your family , and all the best in 2016. James.lo

    • Hey James
Thank you for taking the time to write. It is always great to learn that there is another person out there who enjoys my books. Good on you … I wish I could laze in the sun these days, but I am back in Canada with the damp and cold. One of my editors lives in Australia and regularly writes to tell how nice the temperature is.
Best wishes for a fantastic 2016 to you and yours. Please stay in touch, and please keep reading the Clearwater Series. You might wish to enter a for fun contest running now. A free paperback of the Clearwater title of your choice for the best casting of Joe, Mia and Max. Winner announced January 15th.
      Take care and be safe,

  8. Hey Al
Just wanted to say a BIG Thank You for taking the trouble to write all your books & making them so enjoyable. There are occasions when I’m reading them and burst out laughing, then have to explain to my wife why. That to me is absolute “Gold”, not many books make me do that……
As for the exchange rate for Canada not being great….here in Australia is not much better, but your worth every penny you get…. thanks also for “Trampled Turtles” never heard of them before always like new musicπŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ». My fave quote goes to Billy ” Sometimes you get chicken, sometimes you get feathers ” love it & use it, sorry… Cheers Lee

    • So Happy to hear that there are people who like a good laugh. I’ll keep writing them if you keep enjoying them Clearwater Bubba should be available on Feb 12th. Let me know what you think.
Take care and be safe Lee,
      Al
