Dear Joe and Mia fans;
I would like to thank you all for your kind words of encouragement and your continued support. I have one favour to ask if it is not too much bother. If you have read and enjoyed one, or a number, of my books, please take a few minutes to give a good rating. If you want to write a positive review, that would also be helpful. Publishers are saying that, currently, there is a glut of free and relatively cheap books on the market which will translate into less revenue for all writers. They go on to point out that only those authors with a gradually built up reader base producing four or five star rated books will survive. ‘Hard times ahead’ seems to be the message.
I have been very fortunate to have received very kind ratings from most readers. The puzzler for me is that Clearwater Homesick has been available since December 5th, and to date there has only been one rating and that, believe it or not, was on Kobo. I know that I-books will not post a rating until they have a certain number, but Barnes and Noble generally post as the ratings come in.
In concluding, I would like to wish all you Joe and Mia fans a very Merry Christmas and a fantastic New Year.

Al, all of your books are rated 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 in my opinion! I check your website often for news of your next Clearwater book. I have read each of them twice. Even if I start reading someone else’s book while I’m waiting for the next installment, I find myself “craving” more Joe, Mia and the gang. I loved “Clearwater Homesick”. When I read that Billy Ray was taking Lincoln to buy a car, I knew it was going to be good, and you didn’t disappoint! I love Joe’s interaction with Sean and Billy! A biological father could not love his kids more. I can’t wait to read details of Joe’s and Mia’s wedding, and again I know you won’t disappoint. Keep writing and I’ll keep reading. Cindyb
With all the gloomy publishing predictions I have been reading lately, to start work this morning reading your comment has reminded me that I write not just to entertain myself. Thank you so much for writing and rating. The next title will be Clearwater Hustle. The cover is being done this morning and will be posted early next week. I hope you have a fantastic 2015 and as long as I know there are readers out there who enjoy what I write, I will continue to tell the Clearwater stories.
